Where r u dr ganaie and kinni and what happen to ur results as u were the serious contributor of this blog

post mortem

(saabir, 2010-10-03 12:32)

I have seen all the papers again and find out where i made mistakes and i feel this time the papers were so simple that even the candadate who studied 15 days can write all the papers and had no difference between the cand.who is prep. for 3 years bcoz the more tough the papers are the more chances that deserving cand do well and the real knowledge are tested. and in my case in gs 1 i did not done well in c.affairs and statistics and i could have write essay in more systematic way. and lastly the sociology papers were too general and opionion based.

disaster

(any, 2010-10-03 10:46)

this result is disaster i was so confident of myself but god knows i m dropped.
Even big names couldn't qualify but undeserving and nonserious candidates made it. There is result is disaster.

When an aspirant is selected in mains. How u can call him as nonserious & underdeserving,he did not snatch marks from any one,he only do hardwork with full faith on god.I'M SORRY BUT I MUST TELL YOU U ARE OVERCONFIDENT.

Re: Re: disaster

(any, 2010-10-03 12:29)

these psc members would know what they have selected only at time of interview.
I haven't pointed at u. Why r u panic?
Its blunder of psc not of candidates.

to bikram

(saabir, 2010-10-03 12:15)

Bikram bro my subjects were sociology and pol. science.the sociology is not a scoring subject and paper were so general even a 10 std student could have write all the answers so no fun of having knowledge in sociology.im still in a shock that i could not qualify even mains in kas

To bikram

(Vinay, 2010-10-03 10:32)

Sad bikram u cudnt qualify for kas mains though u did ias mains twice. Here s a suggestion for newt time ...change ur name to rashid, latif, farid or smthing similar from bikram and secondly learn to 'write' urdu or arabic(doesnt matter even if u dont know wat ur writing) and opt urdu or arabic as one of the subjects...then nothing cant stop u frm cracking this exam.

to Narinder

(Abdul Khabir, 2010-10-02 19:41)

You R right Narinder In State PSC candidates from Category are selected against OM seats if they R getting marks more than them It happened in every KAS exam so might be PSC will follow the same pattern in Final List as well. As far as Lecturer is concerned that is direct Recuritment where 50 percent weightage is given to Interview so accordingly they adjust the Marks so that no category candidate figures in the OM But in written exam like KAS where interview is of not much significance as weightage to it is less the adjustment of Marks is difficult so U May figure in OM provided U Have good marks in Mains

Re: to Narinder

(narinder, 2010-10-03 07:19)

i guess they will follow the same pattern in final list thats why they have done it this time.no fun of declaring results on different patterns.

final list may clear this confusion...

Re: to Narinder

(ADFAR, 2010-10-03 07:59)

KHABIR SAHIB,
Now I have a confusion, you mean that if psc notify 20 posts 10 for O.M & 10 for a specific catogory then for O.M STUDENT There r only 10 posts & for catogory aspirant there r all 20 posts.THEN O.M Aspirant is in lose.PLY CLEAR IT.

ADFAR Sb
YEs dear open means open for all and reserved means only for category and a category candidate can occupy open seat this is justified under rules

(Ibu, 2010-10-03 07:04)

Dear Adfar & others plz tell me if there is any major difference in the interview patterns of IAS & KAS. What is the nature of questions asked in interview. Plz give detailed answers.

TO KHABIR

(ADFAR, 2010-10-02 16:28)

Dear khabir sahib,
yes,psc always follow this rule, when psc notify the posts,he breaks these in to various catagory & each candidate is selected in his own catagory even if he gets more marks than open merit.itz called vertical reservation.ONLY BOPEE follows this rule if st. Of catogry gets more marks he is then selected in o.m.,BRO FOR MORE CONTACT PSC,
