(SYED ADFAR, 2010-09-11 11:50)

I think KSC should close this blog as it has lost it's purpose & values.it is becaming hub of politics. This blog was for assistance in civil service exams but it has lost it's values. So i request it should be closed.

Re: VALUE

(omar, 2010-09-11 16:10)

i totally agree with u. Here is going something else. Ksc has now become mere a propaganda blog. Good blogers have left discussing civil services related matter and im also going off till this blog gains its lost purpose

QUESTIONS FOR KAS INTERVIEW

(DD EDUCATION GT AFFECTED IN THE PRESENT UPRISING IN THE VALLEY?, 2010-09-10 12:17)

We agree that the schooling has got affected but not the education, because what our youth have been learning from last 3 months, rather last 20 years is equally important. They have learnt lessons for survival, nation building, and resista...nce. Our students have been reading in the history books about British colonialism, Hitler’s pogrom against Jews, discrimination of black people in the western countries but here in Kashmir our children have experienced all these things first hand through Indian occupational troops. In 1947 we were deceived by India and its stooges because our people then were not very educated and could not understand their deceptions. Today Alhamdulilah our society is emancipated.

QUESTIONS FOR KAS INTERVIEW

(WHAT R UR VIEWS ON INDEPENDENCEFOR KASHMIR?, 2010-09-10 12:16)

Our critics, oppressors and the collaborators show ‘concern’ about the future of Kashmir after freedom from India. Surprisingly they are concerned how we will survive after freedom..., when they are not concerned about our present, when our children, who are our future, are being killed, maimed and brutalized. Tell them, nothing is better than freedom. Nothing can persuade us to continue living under occupation. Compatriots, ask them, would they like to live lives under oppression, discrimination and humiliation. If not, then why do they expect us to reconcile with injustice and tyranny. The oppression has to end, for which Indian occupation has to end. India is mother of all the problems for people of Jammu and Kashmir.

What are ur views on abu gharaib ike prisons in kashmir

(QUESTIONS FOR KAS INTERVIEW, 2010-09-10 12:13)

In the backdrop of those 'naked parade videos' which have been doing rounds on the social networking sites since days now, a very disturbing reality has come to fore again. We have again been reminded that, " your shame is no shame but do not try to put us, to the shame for your shame".

Most of the Indian commentators have brushed every thing under the carpet with sweeping statements like, "fake", "unauthenticated" and "malicious propaganda". Thank God no one said "copyrights infringement". And rightly so. How could it be a "copyrights infringement" ? It has already itself infringed the copyrights of Abu -Ghariab shame. I think, if someone starts to copyright the shame, world will be a better place to live. But unfortunately only good things are copyrighted here.

It was a no suprprise when the authorities in Kashmir announced that those who have uploaded that shame on Internet shall be tracked down and subjected to the same shame. But the surprise was when they showed the audacity of saying that Facebook and Youtube will be booked for depicting that Shame. How shameless one can go, you yourselves judge. About Facebook and Youtube, I do not know but I know few kids and teens are going to face the brutality now. But then does it change anything. Nothing. In fact it is going to put them into more shame. It is obvious that all the players of India in Kashmir have fixed the match in favour of Kashmiris. Their mistakes are weapons of Kashmiris. Their brutalities strengthens the sentiment of freedom in Kashmir. But who is going to unfix the match. It has already been won by Kashmiris a long back, only result needs to be declared.

And then we are often asked some questions when our own questions do not find any answers with them.

What do you (Kashmiris) afterall want ? And if we ask the same question to them.

What does India afterall want in Kashmir, when it has already lost the game ? What will be the answer ?

I am pondering over it since I became conscious of my own answers.

Coming back to the topic. The video in question has not angered me much, honestly speaking, but the shame of refusing to accept the shame by Indian state has driven me crazy. The answer to above question lies in this fact only.

Indian state never accepts its mistakes in Kashmir but in return it commits more mistakes to sugar coat the previous ones. India has turned Kashmiris into a tough race by experimenting with them. Kashmiris are no longer pained by scenes like those on that video. We are now experiencing this nakedness since long. Our pain lies in their not accepting their shame. But then that is our biggest strength. Refusal to accept the truth is nothing but arrogance. And arrogance always bring nations down. When it is arrogance of power, then the power on which that arrogance rides, brings it down very violently. I would not quote the examples of nations brought down by arrogance here. Everyone knows those examples.

Separation from India previously might have been a dream for Kashmiris but now it has become a compulsion. And that compulsion is fast becoming a genetic mutation. Our kids are genetically Independent now. Only fear of the state symbolizes India in Kashmir. Once that fear is gone, India is gone. Writing is on the wall. But can they read it before they are forced to read that wall.

india..what will we forget

(mohmmad gauhar, 2010-09-09 16:35)

I was chatting with a friend of mine from Assam regarding Kashmir. After a brief lull he remarked, “Why don’t you forget everything and move on.” For him and many people in India, Kashmir is a problem that needs attention and restoration of peace. Or perhaps a solution, economic or political, they themselves don’t know. For them “development” is a panacea for all the problems of Kashmir, dreadful memories included!

But for a Kashmiri like me forgetfulness is a dilemma. We don’t want the status quo but we can’t even afford what they call “ moving on” and “forgetting”. Now let me ask you, as the people of the country that boasts of itself as ”the largest democracy of world”, what should Kashmiris forget?

Should they forget the innumerable sacrifices they have made? Should a father forget that he shouldered his son to the grave and that the dead aren’t spared even on the way to grave?

Should a mother forget his son whom she nourished in her womb? Should a son forget the murder of his father in front of his eyes? Should a wife forget her husband who left and never returned?

Should a brother forget the dead body mutilated with countless marks and the label that his brother was a ‘terrorist’? Do you expect him to forget the honour of his sister?

I still remember the nocturnal raids when the troopers trampled us in our beds. We were not terrorists, we were children. Least of all do I forget the slap on my face, for the crime of walking on a footpath. Though the trooper hit my cheek, it hurt my heart. Now who will expect me to accept that the trooper was actually here for my ‘security’? I won’t even if GOI sends prophets to convenience me.

my dear brother ur grievances are 100% genuine n true. the whole generation has got spoilt in this conflict. respective governments of the state n the centre has not been able to redress the grievances of the valley over the years. they always come into action and make big promises only when things go out of control. now militancy has got extinct from whole of the state but still the valley is oversecuritised. time has come when govt should repeal AFSPA from the state.govt should give chance to kashmiris to live thier life acc to thier wishes. u r right people of valley do not want development, emloyment n all that,'thier only need is JUSTICE' which has been denied 2 them over the years. all the politicians of the valley whether separatists or mainsteam have used the unredressed grievances of the people to safeguard thier own vested interest. they r playing poltics over the dead bodies. the people who r pelting stones r innocent. i understand ur grievances n have full sympathy for the people of valley.

india...we will not forget perhaps we may forgive!”

(mohammad gauhar, 2010-09-09 16:40)

For an oppressor can kill a man, but it can’t kill a revolution. It can cage the body, but it can’t cage the soul. It can wipe a generation and yet it can’t wipe the minds.
You may not be directly shooting bullets on seven-year-olds, but then you pay every penny for a murder in Kashmir. Small it may be but you share a contribution in spilling every drop of blood.

I can’t forget the face of the seven-year-old who was hit by a bullet. I don’t know whose money came into act but surely it was from one of you. Most of you even must still not know who he was and why he died. For most of you the story boils to just one line “Kashmir is an integral part of India”.
Our fight is not only a fight for inalienable rights;

I told my friend and as I do to every Indian ‘forgetting will amount to a sin. Leave us to our fate, time is the best healer and we have a big heart we will not forget perhaps we may forgive!”

we will not forget perhaps we may forgive!”

(mohammad gauhar, 2010-09-09 16:38)

A stone as my brother once wrote “is not hot like a bullet. It is cold and yet it does not pierce a body. It does not kill a soul.” Kashmiris were always peace-loving. Our land is tranquil, serene and blessed. The gun could not survive for more than ten years despite that fact that we have been enslaved for almost 200 years. We still don’t intend to kill and yet we don’t fear getting killed. For an oppressor can kill a man, but it can’t kill a revolution. It can cage the body, but it can’t cage the soul. It can wipe a generation and yet it can’t wipe the minds.

This year or many years before this, any of your children would have attended about the same amount of classes as our children would have actually missed.

Our fight is not only a fight for inalienable rights; it is what a veteran journalist of Kashmir calls fight against forgetfulness. I told my friend and as I do to every Indian ‘forgetting will amount to a sin. Leave us to our fate, time is the best healer and we have a big heart we will not forget perhaps we may forgive!”
